The pyramid of pain for Africans/Blacks in the diaspora

1) Psychological Homelessness – We are trying to validate within our own minds, this false notion that we are part of the dominant society (White Europeans) even though we know that we are African, descendent of slaves. We know we are not white, but we do not want to be black/African.

2) Inferiority Complex of African people - One of the biggest reasons why we have not done more with what we have is because, the collective consciousness of black folks feel inferior to white people. And the reason why it is hard for us to overcome this racial inferiroity complex is because, we do not want to admit its there. This topic is very sensistive to us, because we never have the conversation.

3) Emotional Defeatism - We are an emotional defeated people when it comes to racism. The majority of black people believe(even though they would never admit it) it is almost impossible, to overcome the trials and tribulations of racism that have been put in front us.
