Religion taught to you by your oppressor cannot be good for you. They always put themselves at the center of things and you at the back. I just saw an "Islamic message" where it list where the prophets came from, and no where is the word Africa. They said Adam came from Sri Lanka (LOL). Now where did they get this from? They got it from someone who is not an African. Because the first thing Muslims in Ethiopia tell you is Adam came from Ethiopia. The first thing Christians in Ethiopia tell you is Sheba was an Ethiopian. If Africans in the Diaspora had control of the Bible they would have extracted all the verses about escaping bondage and centered Christianity around emancipation, but unfortunately it was the Whites who controlled the Bible so it ended up putting that story in a context that served them.
